Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, el álbum de 1970 de Derek and The Dominos, se reedita con motivo de su 50 aniversario en una edición de lujo de 4 LP en vinilo y dos CD.
El álbum original ha sido masterizado a media velocidad por Miles Showell en los estudios Abbey Road y, al ser doble, está prensado en dos LPs. Dos discos más de material extra (no masterizado a media velocidad) componen esta caja de lujo de 4 LP.
La caja de vinilo incluye un libro de 12×12″ con notas tomadas de la edición del 40 aniversario. También se hay a la venta una edición en 2 CD idéntica a la edición en doble CD publicada en 2011.
La gran caja del 40 aniversario (4CD+DVD+2LP) incluía una mezcla de sonido envolvente en el DVD. Dado que ahora es muy difícil de conseguir, es decepcionante que el DVD no se haya incluido junto con los dos CD para formar un paquete de triple disco.
